Powercloser
The Powercloser automates the box closure process. The individual folding crates are transported to the power-closer, analyzed and then closed automatically. The detection station analyzes the opened box’s folding direction of the side walls and closes them according to the closing mechanism. Afterwards, the closed box passes a plurality of sensors, wherein defective or fouled boxes are ejected. To avoid downtime, the sequencer is automatically reset in case of disturbances.
